Grace Lutheran Church is a place where generations are knit together: we worship together, we learn together, we serve together, and we grow together. As those joined into the Body of Christ, relationships are the driving force of discipleship and doing the work of “being” the church in our community and in the world (Acts 1:8). Realizing that relationships should span all age groups, we focus our attention on intergenerational ministries where parents and grandparents are equipped to teach the faith to their children and grandchildren, young people glean the wisdom of the elders, and faith is nurtured and matured in the lives of people.
With relationships being so vital to a healthy community of faith, we focus our attention on offering various small group and fellowship opportunities: music ministry, Sunday morning faith formation classes, Bible studies, Youth Group, and special events throughout the year that focus on fellowship; an online Bible Study is offered for those who do a lot of travel for work or those for whom the schedule of our in-person studies doesn’t work. All of these opportunities are used to help “equip the saints for ministry” and “to build the body of Christ” in faith, unity, and love for one another (Eph.4:12-13).
Through the Care Center and Good Samaritan fund we share God’s love toward those in our community who need some extra assistance in life. Through our missions and service team, we partner with national and international missions to carry the gospel of Jesus to those who have not yet heard the gospel for them (Acts 1:8).
At Grace Lutheran Church we are called by Christ to be an intergenerational community of faith where hope is shared, relationships are strengthened, grace abounds, and love reaches out to a world in need.
